The Federal Government of Nigeria through Geocardinal Engineering Services Ltd held a 7-Day Capacity Building Workshop for the Senior and Junior Staff of the Nigerian Institute of Mining and Geosciences (NIMG), aimed at enhancing the capability of all NIMG Staff in order to discharge their duties effectively and transform NIMG into an International Center of Excellence and a unique Professional Research institute for training and postgraduate research in mining and Geosciences.
The categories of staff trained include the General Administration/Management Staff, Administrative Personnel, Finance, Procurement, ICT, Mining Engineers, Geologists, Mineral Processing, Laboratory Technologists, Civil Engineers, Secretaries and other junior staff.
The resource persons are professionals with Industry and Academic experience who are certified trainers and have written several papers in their professional fields. Amongst them are:
